专利说明:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a timber bank comprising a horizontal beam having a pocket at each end to which a substantially vertical post is arranged to be attached. The pocket has an inner end surface and an outer end surface in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar. The invention also relates to a method in connection with a timber bank. Brief description of the invention The object of the invention is to present a new type of solution for timber banks. The object of the invention is achieved by a timber bank and a method which are characterized by what is stated in the independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.
The invention is based on the fact that the bank has a load-receiving member which makes it possible to make an opening in the pockets of the bank. The advantage of the timber bank according to the invention is that the load tensioner can be installed inside the horizontal bar of the timber bank and can be removed there for maintenance and repair. The load-receiving member ensures that the strength of the bank is maintained despite the opening.
The timber bank will be described in the following when it is in its operating position.
The timber bank comprises a hollow horizontal beam and two substantially vertical posts located on opposite sides of the horizontal beam. The horizontal beam and posts are usually made of steel or aluminum. The timber bank is usually attached to its base with two fasteners. The bank structure can be mounted on the body of a car or> 25 trailer fixed or movable.
N At both ends of the horizontal beam there are 3 pockets permanently connected to the horizontal beam, which are attached to the horizontal beam, for example by welding. The pockets are hollow on the inside and have an inner end surface and an outer end surface in the longitudinal = direction of the horizontal beam. In use, the inner end surface is outside the pocket on the load side N 30 and the outer end surface is outside the pocket outside the load. The posts 5 are attached to the pockets by bolting, i.e. the attachment of the posts must be removed. The pockets and the 3 posts are shaped so that when the bolts are tightened, the connecting surfaces guide the posts N at right angles to the horizontal beam.
The outer end surface of the pocket comprises an opening for mounting a load tensioner. The opening is preferably in the lower part of the pocket so that it has a straight horizontal
connection inside the horizontal bar. The opening may be chamfered from the bottom of the pocket from the inner end surface side obliquely upwards to the outer end surface side of the pocket. Inside the pocket, on its inner end face side, is a load-receiving member. The load-receiving member compensates for the weakening of the pocket caused by the opening so that no weak point is formed in the bank due to the opening. The load receiving member may be a load response mounted at the mouth of the opening. The inner walls of the bank can be shaped so that a space is formed inside the bank which corresponds to the shape of the load response and is thus compatible with the load response.
Access to the horizontal beam is obtained by first removing the post and then removing the load-receiving member. In this case, it is possible to install a load tensioner or remove it from inside the horizontal bar.
In use, the load tensioner is connected to chains mounted over the timber load. The hook of the load tensioner is attached to the chain and the chain is tightened with a load tensioner. The load tensioner is usually connected to the vehicle's pneumatic or hydraulic system, whereby it is powered from there.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will now be described in more detail in connection with preferred embodiments, with reference to the accompanying figures, in which: Figure 1 shows a front view of a timber bank; Figure 2 shows a timber bank in perspective view; Figure 3 shows a part of a timber bank in cross section; Figure 4 is a perspective view of the load response; Figure 5 shows a detail of the timber bank in a perspective view = when the opening is closed; N Figure 6 shows a detail of the timber bank when the opening 3 is opened; S Figure 7 shows a detail of the timber bank when the load E 30 is removed through the opened opening. S DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION> Figures 1 to 7 show the same embodiment of the invention. Figures 1 and 2 show a timber bank 1 comprising a hollow horizontal beam 2 inside, two substantially vertical posts 3 and a horizontal beam 2 on each side.
at the end of the socket connected to it pockets 4. The longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar 2 is the width direction of the vehicle.
The timber bank 1 is usually attached to its base with two brackets.
Figure 3 shows a part of the timber bank 1 in a cross-sectional view with the posts 3 shown cut away.
A load tensioner 7 is mounted inside the horizontal beam 2. The load tensioner 7 may comprise a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder 8, the arm 9 of which is connected by a chain 10 to the outside of the timber bank 1.
At the end of the chain 10 there is generally a hook 11 (Figure 5). The chain 10 is guided by guide rollers 12 or the like.
The cylinder 8 is held in place by a retainer 13. The control of the cylinder 8 is - usually arranged via the vehicle's pneumatic or hydraulic system.
The load tensioner 7 can also be implemented in a different way than described above.
The pockets 4 are hollow on the inside and have an inner end surface 5a and an outer end surface 5b in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal beam 2.
In use, the inner end surface 5a is outside the pocket 4 on the load side and the outer end surface 5b is outside the pocket outside the load.
The posts 3 are attached to the pockets 4 by bolting, i.e. the attachment of the posts 3 must be removed.
The pockets 4 and the post 3 are shaped so that when the bolts are tightened, the connecting surfaces guide the posts 3 at a right angle to the horizontal beam 2. The outer end surface 5b of the pocket 4 comprises an opening 6 for mounting the load clamp 7.
The opening 6 is preferably in the lower part of the pocket 4 so as to have a direct horizontal connection inside the horizontal beam 2.
The opening 6 may be chamfered from the lower part of the pocket 4 from the side of the inner end surface 5a diagonally upwards to the side of the outer end surface 5b of the pocket 4.
Figure 3 shows only a part of the opening 6, because the posts 3 cover the opening 6. Inside the pocket 4, on the side of its inner end surface 5a, there is a load-receiving member, which may be a load response 14. The load response 14 is mounted at the mouth of the opening 6 and receives the load .
The inner walls of the bank 1 at the pocket 4 and / or the horizontal beam 2 can be shaped so that a space is formed inside the bank 1 to which the load response 14 is compatible. © 30 Both pockets 4 of the bank 1 may have an opening 6 as mentioned above or the opening 6 may only be in the second pocket 4 of the bank 1. N Figure 4 shows a possible load response 14 in a perspective view.
The load stop 14 has the shape of a truncated wedge.
The load resistor 2 14 has holes 15 for bolts 16 and holes 17 for bolts 18.
N 35 Figure 5 shows a detail of the timber bank 1 in a perspective view when the opening 6 is closed.
The post 3 is bolted through the holes 19
20 and through holes 15 with bolts 16. The chain 10 and its hook 11 extend outside the horizontal beam 2 through an opening 21 in the bottom of the horizontal beam 2 (Fig. 3).
Figure 6 shows a detail of the timber bank when the opening 6 is opened but the load stop 14 is in place. Figure 7, in turn, shows a detail of the timber bank 1 when the load response 14 has been removed through the open opening 6. Figure 7 shows the holes 22 through which the bolts 18 are attached to the load stop 14.
When the load tensioner 7 is inserted into or removed from the horizontal beam 2, the post 3 is removed from the rest of the bank 1 by removing the bolts 16 and 20. When the post 3 is removed, the bolts 18 are opened, whereby the load stop 14 is released. The load tensioner 7 can then be installed or removed from inside the horizontal beam 2.
It will be apparent to one skilled in the art that as technology advances, the basic idea of the invention can be implemented in many different ways. The invention and its embodiments are thus not limited to the examples described above but may vary within the scope of the claims. o O OF LÖ
